In the spirit of today’s Bikini Kill nostalgia, I remembered the awesome lyric diss war between Kathleen Hanna and Fat Mike, the lead singer from that shitty pop punk band NOFX.

So basically, Kathleen Hanna at some point called NoFX misogynists, and Fat Mike responded with a song called…

This has probably been dead for a while but saw this and got pissed! Firstly NoFX destroy Kathleen Hannah in this little diss war and looking at the lyrics for deceptacon and kill rockstars Fat Mike writes way better lyrics.

Also considering Mike wrote this song as a rebuttal to comments made by Ms Hannah about NofX being Mysoginist’s which they deny and also point out how alot of bikini kill’s lyrics can be taken as having very anti man views.

But yeah NoFX tottaly owned Kathleen here and also how can she say they write stupid lyrics look at Soul Doubt that song has amazing lyrics.

and also to the author of this blog, Nofx, Pop-punk? srsly? blink 182 are pop-punk, sum 41 are pop-punk NoFX are one of the few big names that keep the punk aesthetic alive. They’re one of the biggest bands in the world to have never been on a major label. So yeah you can suck it :)
